Important Information About Your Rights and Responsibilities

Welcome to El Misria Travel. Before booking or using our services, please take a moment to review our Terms and Conditions. These guidelines are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a smooth travel experience for all our guests. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined here — including details about payments, cancellations, itinerary changes, and traveler responsibilities. We encourage all clients to read these terms carefully before making any reservations. Our goal is to provide transparent communication, reliable service, and unforgettable journeys across Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey. If you have any questions or need clarification about our policies, our team is always here to assist you.

1. General Conditions

  • All travel packages and services are subject to availability at the time of booking confirmation.
  • Prices are quoted per person in USD unless otherwise stated in the agreement or offer.
  • El Misria Travel reserves the right to adjust prices in case of changes in applicable taxes, fuel surcharges, or currency exchange rates.
  • Packages include only the items specified under the “Price Includes” section. Any additional expenses, such as personal consumption (room service, minibar, laundry, telephone calls, etc.), are excluded unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • In certain destinations, a local City Tax may apply and must be paid directly by guests upon check-out.
  • Rates for optional tours are based on group departures. Private or individual arrangements can be organized upon request at different rates.

2. Booking & Payment Conditions

  • To confirm a reservation, a deposit of 10% of the total package price is required at the time of booking.
  • The balance payment must be received no later than 7 days before the tour departure date, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Bookings are considered unconfirmed until the required deposit or full payment has been received and acknowledged by El Misria Travel.
  • Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or cash upon arrival (only if approved in advance).
  • All bank or transaction fees must be covered by the agent or partner.

3. Agency Responsibilities

  • The Partner/Agent is responsible for providing accurate client information, including names, travel dates, and special requests, at the time of booking.
  • The Partner must ensure that all travelers hold the required travel documents (passports, visas, health certificates, etc.) before departure.
  • El Misria Travel will not be held liable for any consequences resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Partner or the traveler.
  • All marketing materials, including images and itineraries provided by El Misria Travel, may be used by partners solely for the promotion of El Misria Travel packages, and must not be altered without prior written consent.

4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • Cancellations must be communicated in writing via email.
  • The following cancellation fees apply unless otherwise specified in the contract:
    • More than 21 days before arrival: No cancellation fee.
    • Between 20–8 days before arrival: 25% of the total package price.
    • Between 7–3 days before arrival: 50% of the total package price.
    • Less than 72 hours before arrival or No-Show: 100% of the total package price.
  • For flight tickets, Nile cruises, and special bookings, separate cancellation rules may apply according to the supplier’s policy.
  • No refunds will be made for unused services or portions of the trip once the tour has commenced.

5. Visa & Documentation

  • As an authorized agent, El Misria Travel ensures all visa applications are reviewed carefully and submitted with complete supporting documents.
  • Visa approval or rejection remains the sole discretion of the issuing embassy, and El Misria Travel bears no responsibility for the outcome.
  • Processing times may vary depending on embassy workload and client nationality.
  • Visa applications must be lodged at least 15 calendar days before travel and not earlier than 3 months prior to the intended trip.
  • Embassy procedures, documentation requirements, and fees are subject to change without prior notice.

6. Children’s Policy (Sharing Parents’ Room)

  • Children under 2 years: Free of charge.
  • Children under 6 years: 25% of the adult rate.
  • Children under 12 years: 50% of the adult rate.
  • Children aged 12 years and above: Charged at the adult rate.
  • Additional flight supplements may apply depending on airline policies.

7. Commission & Settlement

  • Travel agents and business partners are entitled to a commission as agreed upon in the partnership contract or rate sheet.
  • Commission will be calculated on the net value of the booking (excluding taxes, fees, and optional services).
  • Payment of commissions will be processed after full settlement of the booking and completion of travel services.
  • In case of booking cancellation or no-show, commissions will not be paid unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Liability & Force Majeure

  • El Misria Travel acts only as an intermediary between agents and service providers (hotels, airlines, transport companies, etc.).
  • The company shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity resulting from the acts or defaults of any supplier or third party.
  • In case of force majeure events (such as natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, or unforeseen government regulations), El Misria Travel reserves the right to modify or cancel arrangements without prior notice and without liability.
  • Any refunds, if applicable, will be made at the discretion of the company after deducting non-recoverable costs.

9. Feedback & Complaints

  • Any general complaint must be submitted within 7 working days after the client’s return.
  • Service-related issues must be reported immediately to the local representative or tour manager to allow timely resolution.

    • Feedback form provided in the travel documents
    • Online submission through the official website

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
  • Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Cairo, Egypt.
