Yes, Egypt is generally safe for tourists, especially in popular areas such as Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, and the Red Sea resorts. However, it's always advisable to check travel advisories from your government, stay in well-traveled areas, and follow local security guidelines.
Tourists in Egypt should dress modestly, follow visa regulations, and avoid using drones. Photography of military sites, government buildings, or locals without consent is prohibited. Additionally, touching or climbing on historical monuments is strictly forbidden.
Tipping (or "baksheesh") is not usually included in the tour price. It is customary to tip guides, drivers, hotel staff, and restaurant servers as a token of appreciation. It is recommended to carry small bills for this purpose.
Yes, many tour operators offer customizable itineraries. You can request modifications such as additional sightseeing spots, extra days, or special activities. It’s best to discuss changes with the tour provider in advance.

Yes, it is absolutely possible to visit both Egypt and Jordan in one trip. Many travelers combine the two destinations, as they are geographically close and offer rich cultural and historical experiences. You can easily fly between Cairo (Egypt) and Amman (Jordan), and there are also direct bus routes that connect the two countries via the Aqaba border. Popular itineraries include seeing the Pyramids and the Sphinx in Egypt, followed by a visit to Petra and the Dead Sea in Jordan.
The best time to visit Egypt, Israel, and Jordan is between March and May or September and November. During these months, the weather is mild and pleasant, making it ideal for exploring the historical and cultural sites in all three destinations. In Egypt, temperatures are more comfortable, especially in desert areas like Luxor and Aswan, which can be unbearably hot in summer. Similarly, Israel and Jordan offer pleasant temperatures during this period, perfect for visiting landmarks like Jerusalem, Petra, and the Dead Sea. Summer (June to August) can be extremely hot, particularly in Egypt, and less comfortable for sightseeing, while spring and fall offer the best conditions for a memorable and enjoyable trip.
The best time to visit both Egypt and Jordan is during the cooler months, from October to April. This period offers comfortable temperatures for sightseeing, particularly in places like Cairo, Luxor, Petra, and the Dead Sea. The summer months (June to August) can be extremely hot, particularly in Egypt's desert regions, and may not be the most pleasant time for outdoor activities. However, if you're looking for fewer crowds, visiting in the shoulder seasons (spring or fall) would be ideal.
